Getting Started
Open the app and the map centers on Honolulu. Zoom into any neighborhood to load parcel boundaries. Tap any orange parcel on the map, or swipe through the card strip at the bottom, to open the full parcel detail.
Frequently Asked Questions
Parcels aren't loading — what do I do?
Zoom in closer to a specific neighborhood. Parcel data loads when you're within roughly a half-mile view. The strip at the bottom will show "Zoom in to see parcels" when you're too far out.
Why is some parcel information missing?
Parcel data comes from Hawaii state and county public records. Some fields (owner name, land value, zoning) are not available for every parcel, especially on neighbor islands. Data is updated as the state publishes new records.
What does the ahupuaʻa overlay show?
Ahupuaʻa are traditional Hawaiian land divisions running from mountain to sea. The cyan polygons show ahupuaʻa boundaries; purple polygons show moku (larger districts). Toggle them in the layers panel (slider icon in the bottom strip).
What is Mālama Property Brief?
Mālama Property Brief is the $4.99/mo subscription tier. It adds saved parcels, change alerts, and expanded data layers. Sign in with Apple to subscribe.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID. Go to Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your iPhone to cancel at any time.
What is the ProBuildCalc button?
ProBuildCalc is a companion iOS app for contractors and builders. Tapping "Scan this parcel in ProBuildCalc" opens the parcel in ProBuildCalc if installed, or takes you to the App Store.
How do I delete my account?
Email us at support@ikenagroup.com with the subject "Delete my account" and we will remove all your data within 7 days.
